Slop Talk

Slop Talk puts two AI guests and an AI moderator in an animated studio. I wanted to find out whether, with enough preparation, they could have a conversation worth watching. Preferably without me having to rescue it in the edit.
Let them do their homework
I choose the topic and review the questions. The guests have different personalities and opposing views, and each gets its own research. Their answers develop as they hear what the other has to say. Ben, the moderator, has both sets of notes, so he can follow up on their answers.
I tried different voice models because a decent argument can still be delivered by someone you’d rather mute.
How much editing would this need?
The conversation needs very little editing. I still do plenty of preparation and some tidying afterwards, but I don’t have to assemble a discussion from a pile of usable sentences.
I invited myself on
I can join them on camera and talk to them directly. They turn toward me to answer, then back to each other when the debate resumes.
I wanted their reactions to be readable while someone else was speaking. That meant spending quite a while teaching a shape to look unconvinced.
The first episode is OpenAI vs. Anthropic: Who’s Full of It? You can find the show on the Slop Talk Show YouTube channel.
